Of course, Dell wouldn't want to be left behind when it comes to the thinnest and lightest portable computers or laptops. I haven't seen this laptop personally. Just in pictures and reviews.

But though I haven't have the opportunity in a lifetime to use and have this kind of laptop, its worth of being reviewed for the benefit of the consumers. The Dell Adamo has been revealed and here are the specs:


Specs:

• Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo U9300 1.2 Ghz
• Memory: 2 GB RAM
• VGA: Integrated Intel X4500 graphic adapter

• Storage: 128 GB Solid State Drive
• Weight: 4 lbs
• 3 USB Ports, 1 eSATA expansion port
• Magnetic cover

Pros:

• Style - Thinnest Laptop at 0.65" against Mac Air's 0.76" base
• Screen - Bigger screen at 13.4 inches
• Design - Very sleek design

Cons:

• Price - Overpriced! $1,999 to $2,699
• Add Ons - No optical drive included.
• Performance - Processor and Graphic Card is too low end
• Weight - Heavier than its competitors by a pound at 4 lbs.
• Operating System - Runs on Vista

On computing... performance is always needed. The Dell Adamo would be much better if Dell had put performance over design. At 1.2 Ghz of Core 2 Duo Processor is not bad for internet and simple word processing. But for the techie people, a computer should be all around and multi tasking.

Overpriced at $1,999. The simple reason that Windows are being patronized is because of its flexibility on cheap computers. So this is really the part that I'm not understanding is the overpricing.

Has the same features as Mac Air like no built-in optical drives(imitating the original). But Dell had come up with a stylish design that can crush the competitors. Still Mac Air wins the competition for me.
