Even though I listen mostly to rock music, I don't turn down any other genre of music. All the way from Disney songs up to death metal are the music I listen to. You can check out other articles about it here.



Several girl groups gained immense popularity and left a significant impact on the music industry. Some of the top girl groups include:


Wilson Philips
Wilson Phillips (formed in 1989): An American group with a more soft rock and pop sound, they gained fame with hits like "Hold On" and "Release Me."

 
Salt N Pepa
This American hip hop group is responsible for the hits like "Shoop", "Let's Talk About Sex" and "Push It" among others. They group consists of Salt and Pepa and previous members Latoya Hanson and Spinderella.


TLC
TLC (formed in 1991): An American girl group known for their R&B and hip-hop infused sound, TLC produced iconic hits like "Waterfalls," "No Scrubs," and "Creep." They were known for addressing social issues in their music and pushing boundaries. Rest In Peace Left-Eye...


Spice Girls
Spice Girls (formed in 1994): This British girl group became a global sensation with their catchy pop songs and distinct personalities. Their debut single "Wannabe" catapulted them to fame, and they maintained their popularity throughout the late 1990s.


Pussycat Dolls
The Pussycat Dolls (formed in 1995): Originally a burlesque dance troupe, this group transitioned into a pop girl group in the mid-2000s. Their hits like "Don't Cha" and "Buttons" gained significant attention.


All Saints
All Saints (formed in 1993): This British-Canadian group gained popularity in the late 1990s with their fusion of R&B and pop, best known for songs like "Never Ever" and "Pure Shores."


Destiny's Child
Destiny's Child (formed in 1990s): Originally formed as a quartet, this American group evolved over time and achieved massive success in the late 1990s and early 2000s. Hits like "Say My Name," "Survivor," and "Bootylicious" solidified their status as one of the top girl groups of the era.


MomoLand
This South Korean girl group are responsible for the hit songs like "Bboom Bboom" and "Baam". The group consists of Hyebin, Yeonwoo, Jane, Taeha, Nayun, Ahin, Daisy, JooE and Nancy.


BlackPink
Another South Korean girl group consists of Jisoo, Lisa, Rose and Jennie. Their songs like "Kill This Love", and "How You Like That" are among their hits.

These girl groups achieved commercial success and had a significant cultural impact, shaping the pop music landscape of their respective eras.
