Acting in Philippine showbiz is very difficult. An actor should be flexible when it comes to talent. You can't just be an actor only and choose which role you want. A Pinoy actor should be at least good in comedy, action, horror, suspense and most of all drama. Aside from that, the actor should be able to model, sing, dance and if necessary, do some realistic activities that ordinary men does.

A Filipino actor, model and TV Host, John Lloyd Cruz started his showbiz career at the age 14. He was discovered by a talent scout while hanging out with his friends in a mall. John Lloyd Cruz starred in teen drama Tabing Ilog opposite Kaye Abad. He was recognized and best known for his works in soap operas such as It Might Be You, Maging Sino Ka Man and Imortal.
