Whitney Houston

In Memoriam

This is gonna be a short post.

I just want to personally extend my tribute to one of the most prominent singers in the world. I just didn't had the chance to know her better.

Whitney Houston
1963 - 2012

An African-American that has been known to be the voice behind such hits like "I Will Always Love You", "Greatest Love Of All" and "Where Do Broken Hearts Go" among others. She also starred in her own movie the "Bodyguard" opposite Kevin Costner. A multi-awarded singer with 415 career awards (according to Guiness World Records), Whitney died of yet unknown reasons (as of this writing) on February 11, 2012.

I really don't like Whitney and her songs. But this article is to show my appreciation towards great singers like her.

Houston had contributed songs that lasts forever. Maybe even after we were long gone, her songs would still linger in our souls.

For Filipino singers, she is the benchmark if a singer could really sing. Even gays

But aside from the fame, Whitney Houston shared her talents and gave us songs that would make us remember. And this is my tribute. Thank you for all the songs and memories you have given us.

A salute to Ms. Whitney Houston. May your soul rest in peace with GOD.

Kapish!
